UnOrdinary Spaces offers a wide range of corporate events and experiences. Experiences include both virtual and in-person events, including team-building activities, company parties, client entertainment events, and more. We make it easy for remote and hybrid teams to find, plan and book some of the most fun and engaging team experiences in unique spaces around the world.
How do I use UnOrdinary Spaces?
You can use UnOrdinary Spaces to search for venues, book activities, and manage the logistics of your corporate event or team experience.
What types of activities are available?
UnOrdinary Spaces offers a wide range of options for team-building activities based on various themes such as food and beverage, health and wellness, art and culture, and many others.
What venues are available?
UnOrdinary Spaces provides a wide range of unique venues and spaces all around the world, with the aim of offering exceptional experiences and corporate events. Whether you are looking for venues in your local area or searching for options in a particular city or country, you can browse through our diverse selection of offerings.
What payment methods are accepted?
UnOrdinary Spaces accepts all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and ACH bank transfers.
How Do I Offer Experiences To My Employees As An Incentive, Perk, or Benefit?
If you’re looking to provide a one-time perk/benefit with minimal administrative overhead, please contact us at letsdoit@unordinaryspaces.com, so we can assist you further.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, Each experience has its own cancellation policy.
In most cases, you can cancel your booking and receive a full refund.
Please check the details of your specific event to confirm its cancellation policy. Generally, to ensure that your reservation is confirmed, please finalize your RSVP at least 15 days prior to the event or experience, unless we have mutually agreed upon a different deadline.
You are free to cancel your reservation before the RSVP deadline without incurring any charges. However, if you decide to reschedule during the designated rescheduling window, you will be charged 20% of the original booking cost.
If you attempt to reschedule outside of the designated rescheduling window, you will not be able to cancel or reschedule your reservation.

How do I book an in-person event?
You can book an in-person event through UnOrdinary Spaces’s website. Simply select the desired activity and follow the instructions to book.
Can I Add Or Remove Attendees After I Reserve An Experience?
Yes. When you reserve your experience, just enter the estimated number of attendees. You can add or change the attendee list at any time up to seven (7) days before the experience.
How Will My Team Be Notified Of The Experience?
For all experiences, individuals will receive a calendar invite containing meeting details and a link to access the experience. For kit-based experiences, team members will receive an email inviting them to share their preferred delivery address
How Do We Prepare For The Experience?
One day prior to the experience, an email will be sent to your team providing preparation instructions.

Are Experiences Available Globally? What Languages Are Supported?
Experiences that are available globally can be identified by a globe, additionally, you can filter your search criteria to display global experiences. Currently, experiences are offered only in English.

UnOrdinary Spaces partners with venues all across the country to offer unique experiences for corporate events. You can browse through venues in your area or search by city or zip code.

Kits are shipped to arrive approximately 1- 3 days in advance of the experience. Attendees will receive an email with tracking information for kit-based experiences.

How Do We Join The Experience?
To attend your experience, simply click the provided link and instantly engage with team members and your host.
Are Experiences Available Globally and In What Languages Are They Supported?
You can identify experiences that are available globally by looking for a globe icon on their listing. You can also use the search filter to display global experiences. However, please note that currently, experiences are only offered in English unless otherwise stated.

UnOrdinary Spaces utilizes industry-standard security measures to protect participants and their data.
Is there a limit to the number of activities or events I can book?
No, you can book as many activities and experiences as you need. Consider becoming a member for additional discounts here
Is it possible to customize my virtual event?
Yes, absolutely! You can tailor your virtual event to your exact requirements by incorporating unique add-ons and activities.

What do you look for in a host partner?
We look for hosts who are experts in their field and who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise. Our hosts are skilled at facilitating deep and meaningful connections with participants and helping them discover something about themselves, their teammates, and the world around them.
Can you guarantee a certain number of bookings?
As a marketplace, we cannot guarantee a specific number of bookings. However, we do work to promote your experience to our customers through our marketing channels, and we are always happy to discuss ways to engage our customers better.
How do you handle customer contact?
Our operations team serves as the liaison between you and the customer. If there is a need for us to connect you with the customer, we will do so. This typically happens with in-person experiences only.
How is scheduling handled on the UnOrdinary Spaces platform?
We utilize a scheduling tool called Acuity. Once you receive an email with your login details, you’ll be able to access Acuity and synchronize your calendar, set up your availability and and confirm your bookings.
How do I manage RSVPs, cancellations, and rescheduling?
Customer RSVPs will be finalized 15 days prior to the experience (unless otherwise agreed). Customers can cancel prior to the RSVP deadline without penalty. If a customer reschedules within the window where rescheduling is an option, we charge the booker 20% of the original booking cost. If a customer reschedules within the window where rescheduling is not an option, there is no option to cancel.
What platform do you use for virtual experiences?
Our default platform is Zoom, but you can use your preferred platform upon request. Zoom experiences can be recorded; you’ll receive the link in your calendar invite.
How do I get paid?
Stripe is our payment platform, and we pay our hosts through it. You’ll receive a link to connect your bank account to our system, and payments will automatically be sent to your account. Payment is made on a 50/50 schedule, with 50% paid prior to the experience and the remainder paid 24-48 hours after the event is completed.
