Set sail for a hands-on adventure aboard Colgate 26 sailboats, each guided by an expert coach. Learn sailing skills, strengthen teamwork, and discover how sailing relates to workplace success through collaborative challenges and shared insights.

Simply Sailing

Sailing lesson or relaxed excursion. Participants steer, handle sails, or just relax. At most resort locations, prices start at $260 per person for a minimum two-hour session. Inquire about lessons at Captiva Island, Florida, location.

Sail-Race Challenge

Participants learn to act and communicate as a team. Nice stand-alone event or adjunct to group gatherings. Combines sailing basics with real-time competition under sail. Prices start at $780 per person for a half-day (4-hour) session. *Request a custom proposal.

Create leaders and build successful teams under sail! Enhance your meetings with sail-training and team-building exercises aboard 26’ sailboats while staying at a fine resort. Or learn leadership skills while living aboard and sailing from port to port on 40’ to 50’ cruising yachts or catamarans. *Package prices are quoted on request.

How To Prepare

Clothing: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes and a light jacket. Prepare for rain or sun.
Footwear: Closed-toe, light-colored, rubber-soled, non-slip shoes (no flip-flops, sandals, or black soles).
Essentials: Bring sunscreen, a hat or visor with a clip-on strap, and bottled water or rehydrating drinks like Gatorade.
Accessories: Secure glasses/sunglasses with a cord.
Storage: Personal items can be stowed onboard.
Weather: Sailing happens rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe.

Terms and Conditions

Cost: COST (USD), includes boats, instructors, life jackets, and achievement certificates.
Crew: Five sailors per boat with instructor coaching. Crew size cannot be reduced but may increase at additional cost, subject to availability.
Payment: Full payment is due 60 days before the event. Bookings made more than 60 days in advance require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon signing.
No Refunds: No refunds for cancellations due to business decisions, weather, no-shows, or crew reductions. Events run rain or shine.
Postponements: If postponed for safety reasons, the program will be rescheduled within 60 days, subject to mutual agreement.
Waivers & Crew List: All participants must sign a liability waiver before boarding. The Booker must provide signed waivers and crew names three weeks before the event.
